I’ve never exercised; what do you recommend?
To start with “baby steps” so you have fun and reduce your risk of injury.
How will I benefit?
You will see results both physically and emotionally.
Will I have to join a gym?
It’s helpful to belong to a gym, but not a requirement.
I’m not very motivated, can you help me with that?
Yes!
How often would we meet?
I would want to see you whenever we can work it out on the calendar.
Can I quit if I don’t like it?
Absolutely. But I would hope that you would continue training on your own!
Can I call you any time I want?
Yes, and I will get back to you ASAP.
I want to do *event name*, can you get me ready for it?
Absolutely.
Do you do the workouts with me?
It depends….mostly I need to watch you run bike, swim, and guide you in your training.
Do I have to keep a food diary?
I would prefer it, but it is not mandatory. It is a useful tool to help you.
What kind of a trainer are you?
USAT Level 1 Coach, Personal Trainer, and Triathlon-Specific Swim Instructor.
Why should I pick you over another trainer?
I truly want to help you reach your personal goals.
Where do you train (yourself)?
I train a lot outside, but also at home and in the gym.
Where will I train?
The same as myself.
Are you mean?
No. I don’t believe in that type of approach.
Do you give couple/family/group discounts?
Yes.
What are your qualifications?
USAT Level 1 Coach, Personal Trainer, and Swim Instructor.
How long have you been doing this?
I’ve been an athlete for 15 years, a coach for almost 2 years, and a personal trainer for 1 year.
What do you specialize in?
Triathlon, Open-Water Swimming, and Personal Training.
Do you have references (training or non-training background)?
Yes
What is your availability?
Every day except Sunday.
Do you give nutritional guidance?
Yes
Do you partner with other experts in the field for advice or discounts (medical professionals, sports therapy, equipment vendors, nutritionists…)
Yes!
Do you work exclusively with a certain demographic (only established athletes, or only women, for example)?
No. I will work with anyone who wants my help.

It depends on you as I get to know you.
